Ethics, Public Records & Sunshine Law Trainings

The Florida Ethics Institute offers many opportunities to learn about Florida’s Ethics, Sunshine, and Public Records Laws. FEI provides in-person and webinar-based seminars on request, with tailor-made presentations on Ethics, Sunshine, and/or Public Records Laws to meet the needs of the participants. Although FEI can tailor its education modules to any length, the organization offers three standard education packages.*

 

Requested Trainings: All trainings qualify for satisfaction of the annual ethics training requirements mandated by the Code of Ethics (set forth in s. 112.3142, F.S., as well as those provided in s. 350.041, F.S., and s. 332.0075(4), F.S.). FEI can provide you with critical insight into Florida’s Ethics, Sunshine, and Public Records Laws. 1 Hour Ethics in Government Training Package
 

• 1 Hour Dynamic Ethics Lecture: FEI provides an attorney ethicist to lead a dynamic 1-hour ethics lecture which covers a range of ethics topics contained within the Code of Ethics (Part III, Ch. 112, F.S.) and “Ethics in Government” Amendment (Art. II, s. 8, Fla. Const.), tailor-made to meet the needs of the participants and which highlights new developments in ethics regulations. The course provides attendees with a personalized Certificate of Completion provided directly to the trainee via email, upon request.

2 Hour Advancing Ethics in Government Training Package


• 2 Hour Dynamic Ethics Lecture: FEI provides an attorney ethicist to lead a dynamic 2-hour ethics lecture providing an in-depth and interactive learning experience covering the Code of Ethics and “Ethics in Government” Amendment. Personalized Certificate of Completion, provided to attendees, upon request.

4-Hour Ethics & Open Government Master Class Package
 

• 4 Hour Dynamic Ethics Lecture: 4 Hour Dynamic Ethics Lecture: FEI provides an attorney ethicist to lead a dynamic 4- hour ethics lecture which fully satisfies the state’s annual 4-hour ethics training requirement mandated by the Code of Ethics. In accordance with the legal mandate the training includes Ethics, Sunshine (Ch. 286, F.S.), and Public Records Law (Ch. 119, F.S.) education. Personalized Certificate of Completion, provided to attendees, upon request.
